Out in Europe again.

February 29, 2016

I’ve been back in the UK for a while because I’ve just got some very exciting news that I’m pregnant! It was a bit of a surprise but it’s actually pretty awesome timing as I only miss a few weeks at the end of this season and will be back on snow for next season, with an extra little cheerleader!

I’m back out in Europe for a couple of weeks now. Last week I was helping out some of the newer members of the GB Snowboard cross team on snow at our base in Zell am Ziller, Austria. I love helping out the new guys and girls and passing on some of my experience, it’s great to see them all improving and gaining in confidence. IMG_7144

Over the weekend I packed up all my stuff from my winter accommodation and squished it all into my car. Then yesterday I drove the 7 hours over to Chamonix, France.

I’m in Chamonix all this week with Mitsubishi for the Geneva motor show with. I met Eddy the Eagle last night, he’s a really nice guy! We talked for ages about everything from the Olympics to training techniques (I asked if he actually strapped himself to the top of a car in all his ski gear, yes he did) to his movie coming out next month, which I’m really looking forward to watching because it looks great.

IMG_7151Ah it’s just started snowing outside! I like sitting in a chalet typing away on my computer and then looking up to see snow falling outside the window 🙂

I’m still doing a lot of fitness training to keep in shape as much as possible so I’ll be hitting the gym quite a bit this week before I drive back home on Sunday.
